A NEW WORLD ORDER THE ONLY HOPE Covid is the resultant of nations of the world dividing instead of unifying, going down the wrong track resulting in devastation of flora and fauna, pollutions of land,air and seas, unbalanced depletion of the earth's resources leading to devastating climate change and the greed of one species endangering all the rest! We notice things are getting from bad to worse? When the hour comes, as those who sucumbed to Covid experienced, not all the wealth or power in the world can secure for you a single breath, nor bring comfort to the troubled soul! As we observe our dirty politics in progress even with the pandemic and the Chinese menacingly at our doorsteps, it appears we are hell bent on dividing ourselves further and plotting our own destruction. Social media says a new more deadly pandemic "Bhakteria" which is inflamation of the mind is sweeping India and it has it's seeds in Bhakt (blind worship) the result of which we are seeing all around us. Polarized media breaking news every second, statelite pictures and analysis by experts and ex servicemen, sabre rattling and the PM addresses the nation with not a word on the elephant in the room. In fact government is gung ho about our disastrous financial position and there is no alleviation of people's immediate sufferings. How can increasing high prices of diesel for example contribute to growing GDP and lowering prices of essential commodities already going through the roof? The farmers and poor as usual are the worst pained. There appears to be a reincarnation of Hitlers and Nazi philosophy when no one can afford any wars leave alone a third world war! 2. What must be done like famous songs "Imagine" and "we are the the world" all have to work towards this and not let macho men or nations with absolute power and wealth destroy us and the world to satisfy their greed/ ego. The Security Council must have no permanent members holding on from world war 2 with veto powers against the rest of humanity! The UNO world body has to get together and put pressure, maybe some delegates in the Security Council will join the secret voting, oust these powers and elect a representative Security Council , two stepping down every year or some such rule to bring in a new world order. Nothing is imposible if everyone says "If its to be, its upto me!" We have to all not only think about it but try to make this " Imagination" happen?
