We boast about how Goa is not only about beaches and how we are blessed with a large part of the Western Ghats. What will be boast about when these forests are also wiped out? The 3 proposed projects will not only lead to a large scale destruction of wildlife of Mollem National Park & Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary but also affect Goa’s waterways tremendously. While we stay in our homes during the lockdown, many species will be losing theirs. In the sanctuary resides 235 species of birds,219 species of butterflies, 44 species of fish, 27 species of amphibians, 80 species of odonates, 75 species of ants, 721 species of plants and so much more. We can’t afford to let this happen, so LET’S BE THE CHANGE. When there’s an opportunity for us to do something, don’t back down.
