*How God keeps senior citizens going*

Most seniors never get enough exercise. In His wisdom God decreed that seniors
become forgetful so they would have to search for their glasses, keys and other
things, thus doing more walking. And God looked down and saw that it was good.

Then God saw there was another need. In His wisdom, He made seniors lose
co-ordination so they would drop things, requiring them to bend, reach, and
stretch. And God looked down and saw that it was good.

Then God considered the function of bladders and decided seniors would have
additional calls of nature, requiring more trips to the bathroom, thus
providing more exercise. God looked down and saw that it was good.

So, if you find as you age, you are getting up and down more, remember it's
God's will. It is all in your best interest even though you mutter under your
breath.

Nine Important Facts to Remember as We Grow Older

#9 - Death is the number 1 killer in the world.

#8 - Life is sexually transmitted.

#7 - Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

#6 - Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky-panky, and they can't tell them
apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.

#5 - Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use
the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.

#4 - Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital,
dying of nothing.

#3 - All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to
criticism.

#2 - In the 60's, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is
weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.

#1 - Life is like a jar of jalape?o peppers. What you do today may be a
burning issue tomorrow.

Please share this wisdom with others, while I go to the bathroom

Memorial of Saint John Vianney, Priest
--------------------------------------

"The Devil told St. John Vianney, ?If there were three such priests as you,
my kingdom would be ruined."

Malachi 2:7-9
=============

7 For a priest?s lips preserve knowledge, and instruction is to be sought
from his mouth, because he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

8 But you have turned aside from the way, and have caused many to stumble
by your instruction; You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the LORD
of hosts.

9 I, therefore, have made you contemptible and base before all the people,
For you do not keep my ways, but show partiality in your instruction.

Good to have you back in circulation Adolfo.

You are completely right. Were it not for Idi Amin, in the new Africa the
majority of Goans would not have prospered as they did. A lot of pain but
humongous gain.

Extremely large in size or amount

You must be not unpleased with your enforced stay in Quepem. Good local
food, good feni and lots of rest and boredom.

Don?t let the way of life become yours after you leave.

Reading your good wishes Now I learned something new - the
word HUMONGUOUS ...It seemed frivolous to ask my uncle on Mars but Encarte
is more friendly. and told me it means :::: Extremely large in size or
amount ::::

There was a lull because in trying to save safe my head fromm hitting a
rock I put my hand forward and the Mobile fell in the water...I was told it
could not be repaired. My Sister in Law had a Major accident. My
relatives next door and their friend came to then rescue ...The Doctor in
the Govt Hospital said they did not have all the equipmen. We took another
Ambulance to the Hospicio in Margao ....from 9:30 PM to 7:Am the next day
was a nightmare....Fortunately the maid rushed to a friend who took her to
Aster and Dr. Neil Barretto ...she is back home with an steel implant

Goa is so great ....and I feel disgusted that most of the Politicians are
taking people for a ride ....it is a disease of this decade

Every Goan across the State and around the world regardless of his status
or political allegiance has over the last few days been fervently praying
that our so dear and gregarious Governor Satya Pal Malik be retained as the
Governor in Goa to complete his unfinished mission of serving India?s
smallest State.

I am sure that our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Home Minister Amit
Shah will take an appropriate decision in the best interests of Goa and our
great Nation. Whatever the outcome, let us hope that our State of Goa will
continue to enjoy the good leadership of the office of the Governor to
ensure that Good governance in our State for the benefit of the many
especially in these challenging times. The ruling BJP in Goa may be feeling
that the Governor is running a parallel government, but all that our
Governor Satya Pal Malik has been doing is to exercise his bounden
Constitutional role in ensuring that Governance in Goa does not deviate
from the Rule of law.

I managed to speak to Governor Malik this afternoon just as he prepares to
leave on a visit to Delhi soon and he was so very candid in telling me that
around four months ago he had himself requested the Central government to
transfer him to a larger State so that he could play a bigger role in the
service of Humanity.

Let us leave this issue to the wisdom of the Central Government as to where
Governor Satya Pal Malik?s skills and talents would be better utilized to
the optimum benefit of all especially to the marginalized in these very
troubled and turbulent times.

The role of the office of Governor is by definition to Govern, His
Excellency, Satya Malik has done impeccably and no matter which State has
the good fortune of availing of his services will be the better for it.
