A few days ago I found a GN post dating back from 1997 (on a print-out,
I found it fascinating) about 'descendentes' people of pure or mixed
Portuguese descent, of whom there were still a few in Panjim at that
time, mostly in the dedicated old age home. They must be all gone by
now. but what about their own descendentes?
And maybe there are new Portuguese settlers in post-Liberation Goa, just
as the number of Greeks in Istanbul has been growing again, after the
crisis hit Greece in the mid 2010s.
