Imelda Dias worked for All India Radio for 27 years before retiring in 1985. Listeners of that time, still remember her melodious voice. In her autobiography, Imelda paints a vivid picture of Goa right from the 1930s onwards sharing her story of how she broke the norms of society, rebelled against the conservatism in her family and become a strong woman who defined her own life. She also wrote a second part of her memoir in ‘To Love and Live Again’.
