The retort by responsible authorities did not raise their prestige asking women BRIGADE to thrash her There was appeal in the court and just to beat it the Govt used force thro BMC to destroy the illegal structure, pre emptying the outcome. Fortunately court stayed the demolition.The connection between her rants against Govt and demolition is clear message of the might of the State.It appears that it was the only illegal structure needed to be demolish in state without hearing the party. There is provision for regularisation of illegal structures and it has been a norm if not an exception.The Adar monstrosity of illegality of highest order still stands much against the court order, just because the stake holders are powerful and influential .Forget about the thousands of illegal structures all over the state that cause nuisance and obstruction to public life . Why the so called legitimate actions illegality allowed to fester so long.? The relation between demolition and her rants is obvious even to the blind, except to the sanctimonious BMC justifying by laboured explanation of rationalisation Our democratic freedom is under stress and right to freedom of speech is fettered by such force . Politicians in particular are super sensitive to criticism and use gheraos, violent protest and destruction of property not excluding physical abuse and slander. The SC uses contempt proceedings to shut criticism as if it is infallible , when review is an option ANY DISSENT against ruling party is intolerable, leading to arrests, detention, labeling as anti nationals and hounding by raids thro ED.
