WHY FARMER'S ONE POINT MESSAGE The government is not getting the wider message namely respectfully do not take all the people for granted. Yes, the reforms in the farm sector were very much needed. But the way the government goes about things telling us that there is too much democracy, calling any dissent anti national, thukde tukde gang, being misguided etc is insulting! What was the need for stealth, bulldoze the laws in Parliament including unconstiutional clauses like barring access to courts and DM to be final arbitrator, no clarity on MSP etc and after not taking them into confidence seriously, thus forcing them to peacefully overcome government might en route to Delhi? The attitude of government is "My way or the Highway". So the framers are now on the Highway. After loosing alll trust in government, now the government is discussing all the demands and the farmer's say scrap the booby trapped laws you made for us and pass fresh laws as we have been discussing and agreed all these days. CM Punjab warned the Home Minister that this matter should be solved soon or national security will be in jeopardy. The farmers are an important segment of society and they have relatives in the armed force and police. That others are jumping on the bandwagon is not their fault. The government must prove it has got the message and acknowledge we in fact need more democracy and be truly a government that respects and is of all the people of India, for all the people of India and by all the people of india!
