Yesterday it was preposterous to hear the President of India Ram Nath Kovind make a public statement that he has been influenced by Goa’s forests and beaches.
Could the President of India please tell us which beaches and forests of Goa he has cared to visit which have influenced him. Thanks to President Kovind’s visit some of Panaji’s main roads got a carpet of hot mix. Had he traveled to Old Goa by our potholed Ribandar Road our disgraceful state of the road would have got a miraculous uplift. The law requires that every Government functionary including the President of India should never be politically biased or inclined to any party. May these great words of our late President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam be an inspiration to them all in the discharge of their duties. He had said “If you salute your duty, you need not salute anybody, but if you pollute your duty, you have to salute everybody”. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/goa/goas-forests-beaches-have-influenced-me-kovind/articleshow/79819180.cms Aires Rodrigues Advocate High Court C/G-2, Shopping Complex Ribandar Retreat, Ribandar – Goa – 403006 Mobile No: 9822684372 Office Tel No: (0832) 2444012 Email: [email protected] Or [email protected] You can also reach me on Facebook.com/ AiresRodrigues Twitter@rodrigues_aires www.airesrodrigues.com
