Goanetters in U.K. Please note!

To all those UK Goanetters and Goa lovers who inquired about my Goan novel, “The Sixth Night”, here is some good news!

Thank you all for looking out for this novel patiently with oil in your eyes.

This hard cover Goan novel is finally available in London, U.K., in Croydon to be precise.

Only 10 copies are available right now.

Auntty Pontti (Francis Rodrigues) was kind enough to carry these heavy books for me to U.K. from Toronto last week. Thank you Francis and Clara for the great favour.

This is what happens to Goans who innocently tell others when and where they are going. Remember in Goa? If someone knows you are going to Bombay, they would bring so much “saman” for you to take “Are hem matxem vhor re mhojea ghovak”. So when I asked Auntty Pontti to take my parcel. She said “Kiteak bhiela re mhojea puta? Zata tem vortam! Avoiss, inga dukta, tinga dukta, avoiss. Toshench vortam re tujem”.

We don’t get these kind of Samaritans any more anywhere.

We need real Goa lovers like you.
But there are Goans like these everywhere!

Another Goa lover and promoter, Gaspar Almeida arranged the delivery of 20 copies of my book to Kuwait recently, which were sold out right away.

Kuwait-karanno! Ani her Niz Goenkaramno! Tumkam sogleank choddam-chodd Dev borem korum mhunntam!

Now Melvin Fernandes from London has kindly consented to do this favour for me there.

Londoners can contact Melvin on his email at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

You can also contact my cousin, Joe Rebello at 208-684-8905 ( Croydon) .

London readers, please excuse my small mistake in this book.
In one of the chapters in my novel dealing with life in London, I mistakenly wrote “Swansea”, but it should have been “Battersea” instead, where G.O.A. dances were held at some point in time. I realized this mistake myself just after it was published and even Dr. Cornel Da Costa pointed it out to me when he did his review.
Hope you enjoy this novel!
Thanks everyone,
Mog assum di!
