I was truly saddened to hear of the passing away of this great Goan who I remember well during my own school days at St. Paul's in Belgaum. Despite his many achievements, Rufino was a very modest individual who endeared himself to all who knew him. My deepest condolences to Lira and to his daughters and extended family. May his soul rest in peace. A great son of Saligao!
