It is good that the valiant Sikh soldiers get their due acknowledgment for
contributions during the Great Wars.

The India Gate on the Rajpath in New Delhi shows engraved  the names of about
80,000 Indian soldiers (including Sikh soldiers) who died in World war I.
Almost 1.3 Million Indian soldiers served in that War fighting for the United
Kingdom.

In World War II over a Million Indian Soldiers gave their lives almost twice
the number of dead soldiers from the UK.In most of the movies about WWII there
is hardly any acknowledgement of this great contribution.
