Today’s BBC News tells a tale of Indian (and Pakistani and Bangladeshi)
military courage. 1500 British Indian Army soldiers against a Japanese division
of 15,000 soldiers. The larger force was driven into retreat but if they had
overcome the Indians, it would have meant a route open to the Japanese soldiers
marching into Dimapur all the way to Calcutta.

One of the highlights though hidden, of the Second World War.
