Doesn't "Bizarre Foods" refer to the name of the television show (a marketing gimmick) and not specifically to featured cuisines?
Regardless, Goans should not need whites to validate their food, especially with many mispronounced food names which reflects a lazy attempt to really showcase the food. Although I suspect some "Stockholm syndrome" Goans give more credence when whites tell them what is good for Goans.
