Rajan Parrikar on the Subject in Goanet Eruption Imminent? Message-ID: <[email protected]>
You have shared your concern and illustrated it extremely well. Because of my interest in I am taking your concern to another level. I have immediate family in Massachusetts and California ...That whole East Coast has been stable for several millions of years and vaguely I recollect that there was concern among geologist that something might break lose ....However stupid it sounds, ice flaws in Texas, Monsoon showers in December in Goa, and in Handeni Tanzania torrential rains ad floods. My purpose is to drive home three points: First is how catastrophic it has been and could be Two: To give some context by illustrating it figures Three : the direct and indirect Consequences ..... I am sharing Information I received this morning from my African Conversation Network. So here we go: ::::<<<<In June ,1789 there was a huge volcanic eruption <http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8624791.stm> at Laki in Iceland. As the world learned later, it was probably one of the largest outpourings of lava in the past 1,000 years, spewing out 42 billion tonnes <https://www.icelandtravel.is/attractions/laki-lakagigar/#:%7E:text=Although%20Laki%20is%20dormant%2C%20it,billion%20tons%20of%20basalt%20lava.> of molten rock. It not only released large volumes of volcanic ash into the atmosphere but also enormous amounts of sulphur dioxide aerosols <https://www.nasa.gov/centers/langley/news/factsheets/Aerosols.html> – over 120 megatons according to some estimates <https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2001JD002042>. For comparison, the eruptions of 1783 were ten times the size of Iceland’s 2010 volcanic eruption <https://ncas.ac.uk/eyjafjallajokull-2010-how-an-icelandic-volcano-eruption-closed-european-skies/> of Eyjafjallajokull, which resulted in an aviation shutdown across Europe. Later, 1783 came to be known in Gaelic as *Bliadhne nan Sneachda Bhuidhe* or “the year of the yellow snow”. Famines recorded as far away as Egypt and Japan <https://www.geoexpro.com/articles/2014/09/lakagigar-catastrophe-climate-change> have been attributed to Laki, while it has even been claimed <https://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/apr/15/iceland-volcano-weather-french-revolution> that crop failures in Europe contributed to the outbreak of the French Revolution >>>:::: I simply cannot resist the famous quot uttered by Empress Antoinette <<<If people do not have bread they should eat cake !!!! HORRIBLE ... What can we reasonable fellows do ....who knows just like the French Revolution ...there may be Revolutions in Rajan, Check out this guy, he has your earthquake covered!I have been following him for a while now- It is quite fascinating to see all this seismic activity and his prediction are almost always on the money. 2/27/2021 -- West Coast USA Earthquake activity -- Pacific seismic unrest spreading + Europe moves -------------------------------------------------DF
