If I were to retire in Bombay (though no chance of that), I would organize a company selling walking tours of the city’s many splendours. One of them would be the Churches - all of them, the Catholic, various Protestant, the crosses and the synagogues. Much history and beauty attaches to each of them. None like Europe’s beauties of course but each one full of character.
Nothing like it exists in Toronto. The beauty and the history I am referring to. Not bereft of course since we have our own British Dominion character, but far from what Bombay has to offer. Roland.
