Monica Monteiro (nee Alvares) GERMANY/CORJUEM Born in Goa India on December 3, 1941 Passed away on March 28, 2021 in Hattersheim Germany It is with great sadness, sorrow and heavy hearts we mourn the passing of our dear Monica Monteiro, wife of Cyril Monteiro (deceased), mother of her loving son Carl his wife Tuba and their three children Iley, Dalia and Noah and also her precious daughter Doris and son in law Markus Monteiro. Monica was predeceased by her parents. In Canada she leaves behind her Sister Angela (Alvares) & Martin Dias from Calgary, their Children and grandchild, her Brothers Nelson and Teresa (nee Borges) from Montreal with their children and Grandchildren and Franco and Shirley(nee Alvares) from Caledon with their children and grandchildren Nothing prepares us for saying good-bye to such an illustrious “life of the party” person as Monica whose love, laughter and enjoyment of life radiated with each and every one of us over the many years bringing lifelong memories. Monica was so extraordinary that she has a large circle of friends all over the world that she cherished that we teased her about calling it her “Fan Club”. She was a truly kind and generous person like no other. Her home was open to all and those that visited her in Hattersheim Germany took unforgettable memories home.
