Dear Mervyn,
These Grenada Television series on End of Empire have been around a long time
and are worth watching because they represent all points of view: the rulers
and the ruled.

While you can relate to the Kenya situation, I have immensely enjoyed all the
other episodes as well - their smooth or ignonimous
exits from places like Iran (Abadan), Yemen, Iraq, Cyprus, the Trucial States,
Egypt, Palestine, Rhodesia, the Gold Coast and of course the India-Pakistan
tragedy.

If a knowledgeable person can sit with and use these Television series with
some interested, eager young minds who will question this incident or that
within it, a better learning experience than any classroom time can be imparted.

Regards and good health.
Roland.
