I had sent this one earlier to goanet, but did not see
it appear on the list.
----
On my visit to the Museum of Contemporary Arts in
Belem, Lisbon, I walked into the cafetaria for a
snack. To my suprise there was a photographic
exhibition of mostly photos on Goa, with a few on
Cochin and Hampi.
Photos are of the Holy Spirit Church, Margao, a Hindi
lady with a child , Archbishopºs house, Mangueshi
Temple, etc, by Arthur Teodoro de Malo, Zoltan
Biederman, Jorge Flores, Tereza Lacerdo, etc.
The photos were taken by group members who went to
India as part of Un Olhar Indo-Portuguese, A India
Vista pelo Centro de Historia de Alem-Mar (CHAM).
There was a introduction quoting Henri Michaux (donºt
recollect who he is, in quote, No India nao ha nada
para ver. E tu para interpretar´´.
I hope I got it right thought without the accents, as
I am not able to follow the keyboard.
