In this Youtube presentation from NDTV it is surprising to hear Dr. Madhukumar 
Pai from the Global Heath Epidemiology state that Bangladesh is doing a far 
better job than India sequencing the new virus variants using students and 
scientist volunteering for this task.Obviously DNA sequencing is important 
information needed to control the spread. Currently only less than 1% of 
positives are sequenced in India it is alleged.

Elsewhere lots of people are noticing the hypocrisy of the World Health 
Organization objecting to the "China virus" label while accepting the 
subsequent labels of "UK mutation", "South Africa Mutation", Brasil Mutation", 
"India Mutation".
