Dear officials of CCP, We request the following steps be taken with immediate effect in order to prevent the further spread of Covid-19
1. *Ban sale of gutkha and paan* in Govt buildings such as market complexes. Spitting is possibly the biggest contributor to the virus spread. 2. Make it widely known that *plain clothes cops* will move in commercial zones to fine people who crowd at shops without maintaining social distance. Take pics when fining people. 3. Police should *visit private properties* including clubs and casinos to check the occupancy and fine the establishment if necessary. Crowding in private places can also lead to spread of the virus and a burden on the health infrastructure and hence this step is fully justified. 4. Mandate the *marking of blocks* in front of shops where possible to enforce queuing. Shutdown shops that do not have such markings. 5) Ensure all taverns provide *wash basins* for their clients. In the absence of wash basins, the clients tend to rinse in public. All above steps will help in reminding citizens to maintain Covid Appropriate Behaviour and avoid a complete lockdown.
