What a change from the vapid and insipid posts that clog GoaNet.
Modi has been strutting about like a world leader for sometime but the
COVID horror that descended on India has got him his comeuppance. In
addition, he has has earned only contempt from honest, intelligent media
like the WIRE. India's top historian Ram Guha has called Modi a
megalomaniac, that is, one who claims to be a know-all and in total
control.
So, having failed, why won't Modi have the good grace to resign and
retire to some ashram? And, if not, can a nationwide petition organised
by thinkers like you persuade him to go?

and his White House crew ought to be tried by an international tribunal

crimes against humanity, for initially declining, then delaying, India’s
request for time-sensitive materials in the fight against the China
virus.
The hypocrisy of the American Left has been laid bare. If Trump had done
anything remotely close, the Left would be stomping all over, demanding
that he resign. Toilet rags NYT and WaPo would have run full page
blazing
headlines about “Trump’s Genocide.” BLM thugs would have gone on another
rampage, burnt a few more buildings, terrorized innocent white and Asian
people, and looted more Nike stores.
But Indian lives don’t matter. All because the Left, both in the West
and
in India, hate Modi. The Indian Left can barely contain its glee, for
anything that hurts Modi makes them fulfilled. And to a good portion of
the
Indian Left, there is more. To them, the only good Hindu is a dead
Hindu.
So while the virus will also kill Muslims and Christians, there will be
more Hindus dead, so overall in their diseased minds, a little
collateral
damage is alright.
