In mid-town Toronto there is an old church built by the Italian community that lived there called Santa Maria Degli Angeli which translates as St. Mary of the Angels.
Your post, mentioning a school with the same name in Chinchinim, reminded me of this church where my maternal uncle was posted as Parish Priest during the time the Italian neighbourhood turned into a Portuguese neighbourhood. It is now a Jamaican-Filipino area although a few older Italians and Portuguese still remain. Roland. Toronto. > On Jun 9, 2021, at 12:48 AM, Nelson Lopes <lopesnelson...@gmail.com> wrote: > > P.
