Goanetters Please support to all the Applicants of Goan Origin,
Kindly try to support and help out for the people's wish of Goan
Origin/Genuine Goans who applied and are waiting such a long years (in fact
some of them died) to get the Portuguese Citizenship. After all the
processing of papers and identification has been done long time ago. Please
bring up the issue for this valuable Convension in Lisbon and the
Authority should do the needful for Genuine Applicants of Goan Origin.

It is indeed strange to note that the issue of portuguese citizenship is
not
being addressed at the Global Goan Convention in Lisbon. There are
thousands
of Goans desperately awaiting for their legitimate rights.&nbsp; All
the
prominent authorities present in the goan convention should discuss and
interact on this very big issue.They should try and approach the portuguese
ministry of justice and also should point the lethargious pratices and
ridiculous behaviours of the portuguese consulate at goa and especailly the
waiting period that is being consumed unnecessarily by the authorities,
which has added to the several miseries of the geniune applicants.It would
be appreciated if the several goans who are already now portuguese citizen
take up this matter unitedly in an unselfish way................Shashikant.
