Given the Machiavellian thought processes of the current India rulers, it would 
not be too far-fetched to think they planned Fr Stan Swamy’s death, knowing it 
would become international news.

After that, all the major fraudsters in residence abroad, (who are cronies of 
those in power) will have no problem in blocking their own extraditions to 
India on the grounds that even though foreign courts are assured that they will 
not be given capital sentences, the Indian courts will leave them to die in 
jail with little evidence and certainty and that like Stan Swamy, their cases 
will not be heard in their lifetimes.

Jesuit priest who was denied bail as his health deteriorated, has died, 
prompting an outpouring of anger among lawyers, writers, politicians and 
activists. Father Stan Swamy, a priest and human rights activist who spent five 
decades fighting for the rights of the tribal community in the state of 
Jharkhand, was arrested in October 2020, charged under draconian terrorism laws 
and held in judicial custody. Despite Swamy’s weak condition from advanced 
Parkinson’s disease, which worsened after he contracted Covid-19 in prison last
