In those days, when Konkani and Marathi were competing for space in Goa,
 the late Dr Wilfred "Willy" de Souza FRCS (Lon) and FRCS (Edin), Chief
Minister of Goa for four short-and-incomplete stints, would often say that
the coconut tree has 57 words connected with it in Goa.

So, is the coconut to Goa what snow is to the Eskimo (50 different words
for snow in their language

) I recall him saying this when I was a young reporter in the 1980s.

Recently, I did a search, mainly through dictionaries in my collection and
through friends in the know. Actually, there seem to be more like 80+
words. Still tidying it up... Can you help me build this collection? Will
share it once it gets closer to completion. Thanks!
