Sachin Phadte. Dear Sachin, Data on schools and their "Managements" is available with the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa. Normally, schools managed by the DSE and ABE are referred to a "Catholic" schools, although schools like Spring Valley, Holy Family, Mater Dei [even 'Sharada Mandir' in yester years] are managed by societies or trusts where the individuals who comprise the management profess the Catholic faith. Hindu organisations [ like the Hindu Mathagramasta that runs the Damodar High School in Margao or Vidya Prabhodini in Porvorim] have a few schools. there are educational Trusts/Societies which have exclusive Hindu trustees [like Saraswat Edution Society] or Hindu majority [like Janata Education Society which has had a member of my family on its Board for many years]. Except in DSE or ABE or RSS-run schools, the religion of the management generally has nothing to do with what they teach.....or the religion of their students. Mog asundi.
