The casino culture, drugs, cheap liquor, western and local cuisine, attire, night clubs with music and dance , music festivals, EDM, of international standards are putting them in a trance Besides Goa is called as entertainment capital of India with high value wedding receptions by beach sides Most of the settlers in Goa are from various parts of India, Who find this is heaven on earth called, paradise, a peaceful place devoid of riots and other social evils .The Beach tourism is now being directed towards hinterland of Goa to expose natural beauty. The outstanding hotels, resorts of world class by beach side's are a tremendous draw for rest and recreation, many owned by Indians from other states In fact robberies, crimes, rapes murders are attributed to migrants who can easily dissolve in its atmosphere , adjust and be incognito and go unnoticed.Internationa criminals and Indians taking shelter are nabbed from Goa. Migrants found this land as Eldorado of the East, where life and living are at the highest level in comparison with the states like Bihar, Rajasthan,,Kerela and Karnataka . The soaring land prices are a testimony to Goa being a destination for tourism but a holiday home preference for permanent settlement.In fact those who stay here for a brief period desire to stay put permanently.Most of the politicians, the rich , famous and powerful not only own palatial homes and bungalows but have invested into hotels, business et al Naturally parties like TMC, AAP, Shiv Sena, BJP, Congress are investing all their energies and financial resources to ger a pie of the wealty and foothold here The galaxy of political leaders are making a beeline not for nothing.Goas have sold every conceivable piece of land and become foreigners in their own place of birth No common Goan can afford the land prices and a decent home and may be forced to repurchase it from outsiders at unaffordable exorbitant prices Goans in search of better living and education for their families have from time ememorial migrated immigrated to various parts of the globe The vacuum is naturally filled by others.Thr politicians by cartels have sold Goa to outsiders to reek in wealth with shortsightedness to feather their own nest. The mad rush to Goa has to be controlled by to much of concretisation and industrialisation to retain our identity and uniqueness The resident population has outnumbered people of Goan origin, and in future Goans will become a rare breed Goans can only protect their identity by ekecting people who have genuine passion for ourculture, traditions, customs and identity Think Goan act Goan and behave like Goan in the larger interest
