It is refreshing to see young Kenyan(African) intellectuals acknowledge the part played by Pio Gama Pinto in the struggle for freedom. Pio was a genuine loyal Kenyan who had the interests of the ordinary man(the *wanainchi) *at heart and sadly paid for his herculean efforts by his life.
