Petitions Against Goan MLAs, Ministers in High Court

The crutches of Goa's new CM, Digamber Kamat and the tottering new Congress Government in Goa could well be a worried lot as there are as many as five of its ministers and MLAs are facing a challenge to thier recent elections due to corrupt practices they indulged in. However, all the mentioned are habitual corrupt individuals and scamsters having a long track record in fooling the masses and aiding in the large scale selling of GOA to outsiders etc.

If all goes well for the gutsy individuals who has filed these writ petitions, there could be trouble looming large for the Goa Government.

I sincerely hope, justice prevails and it is not late that charges against corrupt elected representatives are proven and they are given the most harsh sentences.

So far legislators like Dayanand Narvenkar have managed to escape the long arms of the judiciary but how long will he run and if politicians like Manohar Parrikar will be able to get him run-out in the infamous cricket-ticket-gate scandal will be interesting to see.

It is a pity to note that despite making huge noises of saving Goa etc, opportunistic politicians like Churchill Alemao, whose true colours the Goans know well by now have choosen to join the bandwagon of all those he labelled various names while going about his campaign.

Also the various NGOs and other parties like the SU-RAJ, should have taken the lead to cleanse out the administration of such corrupt politicians.

Watch out this space till further developments take place and pray justice prevails and Goa is saved from the clutches of all these looters and plunderers!
