War in Ukraine Russia calls it special military operation and intolerable towards protests in Rissia with heavy hand.The world has condemned and imposed sanction.India ha so far abstained, , remained neutral and has not directly condemned RUSSIA What values are we adopting against genocide, destructions and invasion into another country based on brute force.India interest in energy and military support has to be considered and cannot be decided in hurry..Russia in the past has been reliable support USA had sent seventh fleet and has armed Pakistan with lethal weapons.The economic ties , military and people to people are improving and much better than with Russia at the moment God forbid if China attacks India, it is doubtful Russia will stand by us against China as it is being pushed into the arms of China .USA has not aided India with arms for land conflicts, though they have waived acquisition of SS 400 MISSILES OUR neutral stand by not aligning with West to alienate Russia or give ascent to sanction is bordering on fence sitting .India is offering humanitarian aid has spoken to both warring leaders to end the war. Expressed anguish in Bucha massacre Without accusing Invader Russia and for using indisprotionate force. The visit of foreign Minister of Russia has raised the ante. Russian unilateral aggression by changing goal posts and violation of sovereign borders with might cannot be accepted or ignored.. Further threat of nuclear blackmail is worrisome.The plight of people is pitable with deaths of children women, and bombing of civilian homes ,schools hospitals etc The loss of human life is on both sides.Russia seems to be immune to world opinion and ignoring with impunity.The war has thrown challenge to the world and United Nations and others.Fortunately the war has been till date within the confines of Ukraine. Russia and China have now been friends India and USA are moving much more closer today instead of pro Pakistan stance USA sees its own interest dealing with Iran, Argentina,Israel and has improved its relations with Russia China and USA too are on better ties with a temporary pause. USA has abandoned Afghanistan and has different standards in Syria.The war in Iraq was on possession and assumption of nuclear weapons .
