Communal clashes There have been spate of communal clashes in recent times with regular frequency to be ignored. The religious processions are becoming flash points all over India and projecting India as religiously intolerant country Are these clashes deliberately engineered for polarisation of communities on commubal line for political ends and raise passions and emotions? ARE these public processions germane to religious beliefs and faith? Slightest provocation lead to flash points igniting flames of passions LAW ON COMMUNITY RESPOBSIBILITY and accountability has been struck down. Raising down structures of communities as illegal without notice and due process of law and immediately after riots smells fishy and biased approach. If destruction loss of life and property is the outcome, it is time that parties voluntarily give up these customs and traditions in the interest of peace and tranquility and better relations between communities .Alternatively police protection be provided for safe conduct.The route thoroughly sanitized as rooftops have been shown to store such materials used for disruptions and provocations Politicians no doubt seem directly to fuel these conflicts to fish in trouble waters If those responsible are dealt strictly as per law, it would serve as a deterent But the fact finding commissions have concluded infavour of some communities, when ground fact are otherwise Religion and practices cannot be a source of riots Either avoid such routes likely to cause tensions or give up voluntarily public manifestation of faith to demonstrate to others
