Hi Bhandare,

You are making a virtue of insulting people and then apologizing. Then
promising not to do it again. Yet only to repeat it.

Are you saying that Letters-to-the-Editor are not selected for their contents
in peer-reviewed in a journal? Did you read the entire short paper of mine
(with references)? Instead of relying only on a small part that Santosh
reproduced? If you did, you would have noticed the abundant data I quoted to
make my several points. Like most letters-to-the-editor, the author is limited
by length of the article and the references.

To review a paper of a well renowned university professor in the USA is not
easy and simple task. For the editor / editorial boards to accept the review
for publication is commendable to the author. This is not writing a Goanet
post. In fact the University Professor in his response, was very appreciative
of my added material without being defensive?

Are yo interested in highlighting the positives of what you see and read? Or
you, like a few others, are only interested in criticizing and destroying
others? Please take the initiative to write original articles of your own. In
fact, I would appreciate if you and Santosh reposted the last post of yours on
an original topic that you initiated. Please stop imitating others, in merely
being an ankle-bitter.

Should the moderators take some steps to uplift the tone of dialogue currently
seen on Goanet? I hope this can be my last post on this thread.
Kind Regards, GL

Thanks to Santosh's diligence we now know that Dr Gilbert refers to a non peer
reviewed letter as a "short paper"!
he mhanje naaralala "shreephal" aani chaadrila "mahavastra" mhannya paiki aahe!
