The Department of Engineering Systems at Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) offers popular graduate degrees in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering. The Department is headed by Dr. Muzaffar Shaikh, who is a graduate of Bombay University. Among others, its distinguished faculty also includes Dr. Carmo D'Cruz, Professor of Engineering Entrepreneurship, who is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
With the recent introduction of the Master's program in Systems Engineering (MSSE), the Department of Engineering Systems has become one of the fastest growing departments at Florida Tech. These are very exciting times for the Department of Engineering Systems with new courses and curricula that address a practicing engineer's concerns. All DES faculty members have extensive industry experience. They successfully integrate this experience with the class material.
