Sir Eric Fernandes ex teacher of RHS Navelim and HM of St Aloysius H S Benaulim.I was responsible in his appointment as an undergraduate teacher of Konkani from serving as an LDC in St Theresa Canacona.He was promoted as graduate teacher with undesirable ride4x which was proved invalid He was a reputed prolific Kon writer.I consulted him often to correct my Konkanni text and he obliged readily and most willingly. ONCE he drove me home from his residence at Margao and i recall this gesture of love I feel happy to have changed his course in life to another level. He remained indebted and grateful as he always expressed his joy for the leap of changed status.His wife and daugter are in teaching profession and he was proud of them both Though he was ailing for sometime the sudden death was a sock of disbelief and pain May his soul rest in peace Heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family
