An interesting article in ABC Australia giving in detail what ails an airline
that pre-Covid had a great international brand but now teeters on a see-saw of
failure.

Interestingly, some of the blame lies squarely on management. A huge taxpayer
bailout was squandered on executive bonuses and new fleets.

Another conclusion that one notes from the article is that the aviation
industry is no longer attractive to jobseekers. In an example a Qantas airline
pilot finds more satisfaction and money in continuing to drive trucks, an
occupation he had to resort to during the Covid layoffs.
