In my essay, I write that the Prime Number Theorem states that there is an infinite number primes and that Euclid first proved this. Well, that's wrong!
Euclid did prove the infinitude of primes (which is usually called simply Euclid's Theorem). But the Prime Number Theorem is something else altogether, referring to the asymptotic distribution of the prime numbers.
