- 19 MPs of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha have been suspended for "willfully obstructing the house" making this the biggest suspension ever in the history of parliament. - Rahul Gandhi and several (close to 40+) senior leaders of the Congress have been detained by the Police for exercising their Right To Protest. - Congress leader Sonia Gandhi is being grilled by the ED in the National Herald case. - Uddhav Thackeray's appeal in the Supreme Court about his party's control is being pushed to further dates. - Margaret Alva, the opposition candidate for Vice President had her mobile suddenly suspended as she called the politicians for support. - Srinivas BV gets roughed up, his hair pulled and dragged into the vehicle by the cops. - Mohammad Zubair just got released after spending 23 days in jail on a complaint filed by an anonymous Twitter handle The opposition voices are being muzzled. The opposition leaders are being detained, suspended, jailed. State Govts are being toppled on money power and the pleas made to the court are being postponed for a hearing. Anyone who speaks to challenge the Govt is being thrown into jail on the flimsiest of the reasons. And you still think we are not in a State of Emergency???? Disclaimer: While the media makes a National Issue out of Ranveer Singh's bum and the Government is pushing the people to hoist their nationalism on their homes in yet another designed nautanki, it is up to the sane minded social media people to be the voice of the oppressed.
