As I have stated earlier, I am opposed to infusion of religion into politics and public affairs. Its influence should be restricted to the confines of each person's mind and place of worship. When its negative influence affects the public in any way one ought to speak out against that influence. But one has to try to do it in as objective, even-handed and fair manner as possible recognizing that everybody is biased in one way or another, and it is very hard to get rid of some deeply personal biases.
