Early on (10 years ago or so) Goa Sudharop recognized JoeGoaUK's contribution to Goa culture/history and gave him a cash award under the theory money is better than lip service. JoeGoaUk's desire to remain incognito is a rare trait among Goans, who prefer the self-proportional limelight - most often undeserved.
