Callous indifference by PCB Pollution Control board indifference The residents of Dandeavado approached the board for assistance.The request for measuring the unprecedented noise generated by rumbler nuisance at Dandeavaddo. The affected residents have also the protection of noise pollution act by vehicular sources after 10.pn; but this unbearable nuisance is24x7.We assured to bear the costs if need be The request by email was sent 3 months ago but not even a courtessy response is received.The PCB was contacted many times each time the answer was on checking the complaint Even though it was found another mail was forwarded The standard reply is that they will get back to us but never did so far Does PCB exists to attend to the genuinely grievances of the citizens or is it an ornamental Dept rushing expeditiously only at Dance Musical venues?Why such callous indifference to repeated reminders Is it not our right to expect a response from a public funded Govt Dept Nelson Lopes Chinchinim
