Portraits from rural Goa. Met these two while meandering in Canacona, Goa. They were heading into the jungle for work – farming, looking after cows, clearing brush, gathering firewood, the kind of work that requires exertion of limbs. Life for these folk begins early in the morning with a breakfast of ‘ambil’ (porridge made from millet).
