Digamber Kamat -- Sow as you reap!
Goans await the dawn of BLACK MONDAY!
With the ruling congress virtually cornered and the Great goan political crisis
has even echoed the halls of rashtrapathi bhavan and given Pratibha patil its
first brush with congress abnormalities (like what the speaker did), all that
comes to mind is the way our current defector CM Digamber Kamat did to Manohar
Parrikar after being coaxed by non-starters like Lok Shakti and Churchill
Alemao (those days he would kneel down before Sonia Almighty).
Today, call it divine justice, but deceit and back-stabbing has never forgiven
none...for Digamber Kamat it is the end of the road, even Margao will detest
him in the next elections. Sow what you reap...is the best caption!.
Digamber for thirty pieces of silver agreed to Judas Parrikar once, today the
same fate awaits this master judas from Margao.
I was a keen follower of Manohar Parrikar through my then senior sub-editor at
the Herald Julio D silva, who was highly instrumental on giving Parrikar high
mileage, and yes the Parikar of those days was a fire brand, but as the days
went by and due to the various sins of the BJP, specially the tirade against
the minorities led by then BJPs Digamber Kamat in Margao, I lost faith. But
apart from the communial BJP tag, Parrikar is the most seasoned and sharpest
politicians Goa has ever produced.
But all said and done, no Goan should be even surprised if Digamber Kamat, on
Monday goes back to the BJP.............................! With the types of
such political thrash...anything is possible!
But at least with Babush and Churchill around, Parrikar and the BJP boys would
behave, specially towards the minorities.
I understand from my close journalist friends, and those actively involved in
the recent politicking in GOA that there are wild rumours that some more from
the Congress after all the feasting is over at Fort Aguada (where the congress
is currently holed up or beating a retreat?), and on monday will jump to the
ruling side for some form of power or some amount of crores of rupees.
Watch this space, Goans, watch this space...tonite is the night many a Goans,
journalists and politicians will never get sleep even if they take the help of
the cup that cheers or take sleeping tablets...
Pray Goencho Saib...save Goans from what fate awaits them from tomorrow...which
I suppose will go down in Goa's history as the BLACK MONDAY!
