Goanet is: * A wall-paper for Goans in cyberspace. It shares information. * A matchmaker. It offers its cybermatrimonial links (thanks to Christina in .Au). * A place to define "Goanity". We are still confused about what it means. * A place to build up initiatives. My 'GoaCyberInitiatives' inbox was filled-up. * A cyber-kudd of the 21st century, giving Goans a toehold in new places. * A place to fight, insult each other, and let off steam! * A Goa-linked-newspaper-in-cyberspace. It shares news too. * A cyber-brainstorming tool ... some good ideas come up here too. * A cybermentoring network for Goan writers. Ask Domnic Fernandes. * A tool for jaw-jaw (including on communalism). Hope this stops war-war. * A tool to unveil the otherwise hidden face of Goan male chauvinism. * A weapon to shed light on behind-the-scenes Goan communalism, intolerance.
