Private candidates in future will not be able to match the resources avaiable with major parties Independepents are mostly promoted by main party candidates to split the votes. The Congress is crying hoarse for being deprived of funds by freezing .Opponents are shut in prisons.Massive raids are carried on against the opposition .Voters are wooed by incentives of cash and kind.Others are threatened and prevented from voting .It is an unfair advantage that this time around the voting is stretched too much.The propaganda period should be fixed dates no matter when the elections are held Booth capturing, bogus voting, invalid votes are reduced so is the counting time.But various examples are doing round how the votes can be manipulated.
