In simple language it has reiterated people's power expressed in "gram sabhas" .....notable village Assemblies that these gram sabhas at grass root levels postulate that every decision can only be taken with people supporting a project in the name of development not otherwise . With mega projects villas etc forming a village within a village.this victory should inspire villagers elsewhere in the 190 village conglomerates of Goa to keep a watchful eye on their villages.
