Goan Voice(UK) Daily Newsletter I echo everything that Roland has had to say about the dedication, selflessness and regularity that Eddie Fernandes brought to the job he handled, almost single handedly(with help from his devoted wife, Lira), for many years. That we are going to miss his commitment and dedication, ( despite, on occasions, having to contend with loose criticism from some who made no effort to further the Goan cause), would be an understatement. Eddie has produced the daily Goan Voice(UK) newsletter with religious regularity in season and out and even when he was away on his favourite cruises when he should have been relaxing. Haven't we taken too much for granted? Now that we are all feeling the void, in this field, I sincerely hope it will not be long before normal service is resumed and the Goan reading public - not only in the UK but around the world, can look forward to the GVUK newsletter which Eddie kept producing for many years. We, Goans, owe him a debt of gratitude.
