Post office at Chinchinim Over the years the post office at Chinchinim.with a deposit of 100 crore plus does not function efficiently.Representations , dharnas, press conferences have been tried in vain.On his recent visit to Chinchinim Village ,honourable MP Capt Viriato is given a memorandum to press for replenishment of sanctioned staff.Deputation of even temporary staff is a like a spare wheel ,rotated to other post offices on leave sanctioned vacuum .It is the time spent at office that is agonizing.One member post office to handle stamps, registration, parcels, money orders, renew and issue postal certificates,accept deposits and discharge due certificates ,telephone bills etc is way beyond one staff member.The sanctioned centre for aadhaar card has never functioned.The inverter too is non functional adding to another major breakdown of services.The postmaster general either need to immediately rectify the requirement or close down Post office at Chinchinim,before the harassed customers are forced to act in self interests Nelson Lopes Chinchinim https://lopesnelsonnat.wordpress.com
