For too long, politicians and writers including historians have been using a broad brush to describe Goa's history. The above article talks about the stages in the expansion of Goa.Similarly, Albuquerque acquired Goa after three battles. It is time that Goans be specific about their own history rather than using broad strokes, painting a less than accurate picture.
