Folks,
Goa Sudharop was able to share a stall with Goanet at the recent "Viva Goa"
festival in Toronto.
The stall was run by Goanet volunteers. We happened to get a stall that was
next to an exit. This
meant two things:
1) A lot of traffic and
2) A cool breeze blowing thru our booth.
Both helped. We succeeded in providing Goa Sudharop some exposure and some
people were genuinely
interested in the work the organization does. As with all volunteer work, we
did meet some
interesting people and more importantly, some that have similar views regarding
volunteerism.
