I must say Bhandare has a terrific sense of humour - though macabre at times.
I am not aware of any SC acquitting LKA in the Babri Masjid case. Perhaps he
can educate us by citing the case number and year. To the best of my knowledge,
the BJP have used their years in power and even thereafter by manipulating the
CBI, Mayawati and Mulayam Singh governments by dragging or diluting the cases
filed against LKA, MMJ, Uma Bharati and others in the Rae Bareilly and Lucknow
courts. Sadly, even the Liberhan Commission which was appointed soon after the
demolition has still to submit its report even after 15 years. Just goes to
show how the powerful and mighty can evade justice in this country.
For a person with RSS/ BJP leanings it is amusing to hear Bhandare speak of the
rule of law. The BJP after solemnly assuring the SC and the NIC that no harm
would come to the Babri Masjid, proceeded to demolish it the very next day. So
much for the rule of law. Was the genocide of muslims in Gujarat also a rule of
law? What about the attacks on Christians in many parts of the country by
members of the sangh parivar - is that a rule of law? On the Babri Masjid
issue, the sangh parivar has gone on record many times that they do not
recognise any court verdict as it is a matter of faith for them. Is this
respect for the rule of law?
Cheers

Dear Floriano:
Your 'conditions' for joining the BJP are very
amusing.
In the past you had called for parrikar to be jailed
under MISA..now you want advani to be locked up for
life....
neither parrikar nor advani have been convicted by an
indian court for any crime...the SC acquitted advani
in the babri case...as regards parrikar i doubt if any
graft case is being heard against him rt now...
dont you have any regard for the law of the land? or
are the courts of law useful and relevant for you only
if their judgements agree with your own ideology?
the fact that you run for political office makes such
utterances on your part all the more
appalling...doesnt upholding the constitution of india
include having respect for its judiciary?
